Geotechnical Engineering Research Group, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is a research group focused on advancing geotechnical engineering education and practice. It is committed to developing highly qualified graduates and fostering research that generates innovative solutions suited to Indonesian conditions. The group conducts research across areas such as soil behavior, slope stability, earth dams, marine geotechnics, soft tunneling, and natural hazard mitigation, particularly earthquakes. Through its academic, research, and industry collaborations, it contributes to infrastructure development, professional training, and the advancement of geotechnical engineering in Indonesia.
