Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia Sumatera Utara (WALHI Sumut) is a coalition of civil society organizations, environmental groups, and community based initiatives advocating for environmental justice and sustainable resource management. The organization works through policy advocacy, research, public engagement, and network strengthening to address environmental degradation and defend community rights over natural resources. It aims to promote a just and democratic system that ensures equitable access to resources, strengthens public participation, and supports accountable environmental governance.
