Not-for-profit Arts and Education Outreach Organisation

Public Health Intern

This is a not-for-profit arts and education outreach organisation based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Currently, the foundation operates two learning centers across Greater Jakarta: one in a fishing community in Cilincing, North Jakarta, and the other in a slum in Jurangmangu Timur, South Tangerang. In these two learning centers, the foundation provides more than 75 hours of arts and education classes to over 270 underprivileged children every week. The foundation has reached over 75,000 people across Indonesia through the two learning centres, numerous events held across the city, as well as tours to various conflict-ridden and disaster-affected areas.

Your Role:

As a Public Health Intern, your key tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting research around health related initiatives and trends
  • Developing campaign materials for Healthy Lifestyle program
  • Developing campaign materials on reproductive health
  • Presenting data and materials to youth and community
