Divers Clean Action (DCA) is an Indonesia-based youth-led initiative focused on addressing marine debris and protecting the ocean. Founded in 2015, it began as a collective of divers and ocean enthusiasts who saw that ocean cleanups alone were not enough, leading to broader collaborative action against marine pollution. Starting with its first large-scale clean-up and mapping activity involving over 100 volunteers, DCA has since grown into a foundation supported by thousands of volunteers across Southeast Asia, working through research, campaigns, community action, and collaboration to fight marine debris.
