Our interns are from top universities in Australia and Indonesia. Our team conducts initial interviews and only selects engaged and enthusiastic candidates that will make a great contribution to our partners.

Internships receive long-standing support from the Australian government with funding for most programs provided though New Colombo Plan grants.

What kinds of internships do we arrange?

We work across a wide range of industries and sectors, with big and small businesses, divisions of corporate multi-nationals, Indonesian and Australian government agencies, universities, non-profits and NGOs.

Register your organisation

We will work with you to find the best students for your organisation. You can tell us if you have any preferences or requirements and we will find you candidates that are right for you.

We receive applications

We receive high-calibre applications from our university partners in Australia, and around the world. We conduct initial interviews to assess applicants’ suitability for our partner host organisations.

Select your interns

We will pass relevant applicants along for you to consider. You may request a Zoom, Skype or phone interview, or ask us to interview the interns again on your behalf, before deciding whether to accept them.

Accepting an intern

When you accept a student for an internship, we confirm the placement with the intern and their university. Provide us with a short description of your intern’s role so we can advise them of what they will be doing with your team.

Start

We arrange an online meeting between you and the candidate to start their first day with your team. They will work with you for the duration of their internship and we will be ready to provide any support required.

How does it work?

We want to ensure the process is a seamless and positive experience for everyone involved.

We advertise positions, manage the interview and selection process and provide constant support to the host organisation and interns. Our programs include online language lessons, cultural training, connections to student buddies, professional development workshops and social events to make sure our interns are fully engaged. As our host, you just provide engaging work that the intern can complete remotely and regular supervision.
