This not-for-profit organisation does fantastic work with a range of charities in Mumbai. However, their success depends upon their ability to acquire funding and they not only have to do this for themselves, but also help their partner organisations, which often have less experience in this area. Therefore, this position is extremely important for a huge array of people.
Your Role:
Your work will include the following:
- Identifying grant opportunities for the umbrella NGO and its partner NGO’s
- Creating a grant writing training program for the partner NGOs.
- Liaising directly senior staff in producing grant applications that are tailored to the requirements of the umbrella NGO and the needs of its partners.
- Creating resources and the documentation of the process for future use.
Requirements:
Majors: Anything with a focus on grant writing
Language: Only English is required
Other: You should ideally have some experience in grant writing, be passionate about helping and training others and have excellent communication skills.
