It is one of the leading sources of information about overseas education and has a comprehensive Education section / channel. Sina.com employs approx. 2,000 staff in its modern Beijing headquarters. It’s also a NASDAQ listed company (SINA)
Your Role:
Your role will include the following:
1. Develop and oversee a new campaign marketing Sina’s micro-blog services (a Chinese version of Twitter) to international universities, educational organizations, training service providers, etc..
2. Assist with preparing activities to promote Sina during various events that are held throughout the year.
3. Assist with the education arm of Sina, which will likely involve meetings with senior representatives of overseas universities.
Requirements:
Majors: Media, marketing or IT preferred.
Language: Native English speaker.
Other: The following are required for this position:
- Interested in communication or media research
- Basic knowledge of internet and SNS websites
- Have strong verbal communication skills
- Could handle pressure and fast-paced work
- Previous experience traveling or studying in China (or elsewhere in Asia) would also be advantageous.
