Communications and Public Relations

This Indonesian not-for-profit research and advocacy organisation is based in Jakarta, with branches across 17 provinces in Indonesia. Their focus areas are: social accountability for public services; public finance; and transparency. It conducts research, and holds workshops and training sessions. It provides assistance to communities and develops models to help improve the quality of public service management across Indonesia.
Notable areas of current work include: how villagers are adapting to climate change; raising awareness of community rights; advocating for evidence-based policy-making; and gender issues.

Your Role

More details about your role will be determined during the application process but may involve writing articles, working in Social Media, creating a film, and assisting in knowledge management.

Requirements

Majors: Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations and related areas.
Language: Fluent English and at least a basic level of Indonesian are required.
Other: Preferred candidates will have previous internship experience and all applicants must be self-disciplined and motivated.
