Corruption Research Intern

This is one of the leading NGOs based in Jakarta focusing on fighting corruption. Its main goal is to promote good governance across Indonesia’s public sector and civil society.

This NGO encourages the public to become aware of corruption cases by monitoring and raising awareness of corruption, especially during elections and in public service spending. The organisation also advocates for tougher laws on corruption.

Your Role:

Your exact role will be determined during the application process, depending on your areas of study and interest, but may involve:

  • Conducting research reports on relevant issues.
  • Researching and drafting background materials on pertinent issues and activities.
  • Preparing regular news summaries and updates on current issues of interest to the organisation.
  • Monitoring relevant websites of partner institutions to track developments within your area of research.
  • Assisting with the organisation of advocacy meetings and other events.
  • Attending advocacy meetings, conferences and policy briefings, and preparing event reports and briefs.
  • Providing general administrative support.
