Global Anti-Corruption Organisation


This organisation is a world-wide network that aims to give voice to the victims and witnesses of corruption. They work together with governments, businesses and citizens to stop the abuse of power, bribery and secret deals.

In Indonesia the organisation operates as both a think-tank and social movement organisation. The team works with government and law enforcement agencies to conduct research and develop policies, while also increasing public awareness of issues surrounding corruption through media campaigns, films and other innovative strategies.

Your Role

Your work will be largely determined by events unfolding at the time of your internship. You will most likely have the opportunity to speak with the leader of the team prior to your placement to discuss the details of your role. However, the general tasks will likely include:

  • Conducting research using various forms of media to discover current incidences of corruption.
  • Writing reports in English about current issues.


Majors: Flexible.
Language: Fluent English and at least basic Indonesian are required.
Other: You should have a genuine interest in Indonesian culture and the process of reducing corruption. You should also be able to work independently and take initiative where required.
